Embattled broadband overbuilder Knology Inc. had a strong first quarter, reporting revenue of $53.8 million, up 32 percent from a year ago and 18 percent higher than the previous period. The company also posted a Q1 net loss of $18.4 million, narrowed from a net loss of $20 million in the year-ago quarter.
