TVN Entertainment has inked a deal to provide on-demand access to up to 60 college football games for Comcast Sports Southeast/Charter Sports Southeast (CSS).

TVN will handle the encoding, asset management, metadata management and transport to CSS affiliates in the U.S. via the company's "TVNow" platform.

TVN introduced the real-time encoding platform last July, noting at the time that sports programming would be among its first applications. TVNow is capable of turning around live events for on-demand distribution in a matter of hours.
