More than 200 industry execs and other entrepreneurial minds are expected to attend the first-ever Vendor & Operator Executive Advisory Forum, set for Feb. 5 at The Cable Center in Denver.

The biannual "think tank" program will bring together operators and vendors with the aim of advancing technologies and services for the cable industry. The Cable Center developed the Forum in association with Forum chairman Rouzbeh Yassini, founder and chairman of YAS Broadband Ventures LLC. Yassini shared his vision of the Forum in the January 2004 issue of CED.

The Forum has slated 12 "roundtables" for the Feb. 5 gathering, highlighted by topics such as backbone networks, video-on-demand platforms, OpenCable, HDTV, provisioning, bandwidth management, voice services and home networking.
