The Global Services division of Net2Phone has launched a suite of IP telephony platforms targeted to small- and medium-sized businesses.

The platform, dubbed Net2Phone's Max Private Voice Network (PVN), offers a combo of free calls within a "controlled" IP-based network and "low cost" off-net calls to any other phone, irrespective of the user's location or existing PBX infrastructure.

The platform also features remote dial-in, which enables authorized users to access their PVN and initiate calls to other on-net or off-net phone numbers.

"By giving customers a choice in products as well as a suite of options to manage their telecom services, we can customize the right solution for each business," said Simon McIver, director of enterprise products at Net2Phone Global Services, in a release.
