InDemand launches HD nets
InDemand said it has launched two new linear high-definition networks with carriage agreements with some major MSOs in tow.
The networks, INHD and INHD2, launched Monday with distribution deals with Comcast Corp, Time Warner Cable, Cox Communications and Bright House Networks.
The channels, which will compete for hi-def channel space with Mark Cuban's HDNet, launch with a library that features content from Warner Bros, Paramount Pictures, Artisan Entertainment, Major League Baseball, National Basketball Association, College Sports Television, Hallmark Entertainment and the Tennis Channel.
This month, INHD sill serve up movies such as Full Metal Jacket, A Clockwork Orange, and Natural Born Killers.
