Judge approves Winstar financing

The financing has an initial availability of up to $75 million, which potentially could reach $300 million if certain conditions are satisfied, Winstar reports. The financing, approved in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, will be used to fund ongoing business operations.
Charter sells bonds to fund cable system swap

Judge postpones Winstar funding

The funds would go toward financing the company's operations during bankruptcy. The judge only postponed the ruling until the company works out technical details of the bankruptcy, Winstar spokesman Peter Duda told CEDaily.

Actual net loss was $2.69 billion or 37 cents a share, compared with actual net income of $641 million or 8 cents a share a year ago, it reports. Sales reached $4.
Spike lands $335 M fixed wireless deal

TW Oceanic taps S-A for fiber optic upgrade

Oceanic used the system to upgrade the "Big Island of Hawaii" with a digital headend and a single hub with associated optical transition nodes, says Oceanic Cable Transmission Systems Director Metod Lebar in a statement.
