Latin American operator Intercable has tapped SeaChange International to offer video-on-demand services, including movies, TV shows and Karaoke content, to cable customers in Caracas, Venezuela.

Intercable is using SeaChange's video servers and "VODcast" pitcher-catcher system to offer a variety of content, including movies, TV shows and Karaoke videos.

Intercable, the country's largest cable MSO, serves about 1.2 million homes. The MSO also uses SeaChange's near-VOD system to deliver pay-per-view movies and other events, and leverages the vendor's spot ad insertion system in 13 headends to manage advertising traffic.
