Playa Vista, a residential and business development located on the West side of Los Angeles, has linked up with Linksys to offer wired and wireless networking gear.

Playa Vista is offering the Linksys equipment — including routers, modems, switches and wireless access points — to home and business residents as an upgrade option. Those who take the upgrade will choose the type of Linksys equipment that will populate their home or business networks.

"Our goal is to make technology accessible everywhere to everyone in the community, whether you're at the grocery store or enjoying a concert in the park," said Playa Vista President Steve Soboroff.

Homes in Playa Vista are selling in the range of the low $200,000s to as much as $1.5 million.
