Core Networks and Jungo Software Technologies have teamed to create a software combination designed to adhere to the CableLabs CableHome home networking specification.

Under terms of the relationship, Core will fuse its CoreEnsemble home networking device management system with Jungo's OpenRG residential gateway software platform.

Tied to the agreement, Jungo said it will join Core Networks' home networking partner program. Core first announced the initiative, dubbed CoreDuet, last week.

Core and Jungo said their software combination will help cable operators drive revenues via managed home networking services.
