Broadband Outlook touts sponsor, speakers
Broadband Outlook 2002 hosts landed a second sponsor and announced speakers for the January event.
The Consumers Electronics Association, a trade group representing more than 650 U.S. consumer technology companies, will sponsor the event. The National Cable & Telecommunications Association also will support the event.
Organizers also confirmed that Nancy Victory, NTIA administrator, will keynote the event. Other speakers include Susan Marshall, senior VP of AT&T Broadband's advanced broadband services unit; Tom Andrus, EarthLink VP; Charter Communications CTO Steve Silva; Intertainer CEO Jonathan Taplin; Saul Shapiro, VP of interactive services at Sony Corp. of America; MSNBC.com East Coast Managing Editor Michael Silberman; and AOL Interactive Marketing President Bob Friedman.
Broadband Outlook 2002: Vision, Strategy, Implementation is a one-day conference slated for Jan. 23, at the Four Seasons Hotel in Washington, D.C. Hosts are Arlen Communications Inc. Broadband Intelligence Inc., and Communications Research Corp., an affiliate of The Media Institute.
