Antec released its LightLink Patchfinder, a fiber optic jumper that helps trace and identify critical circuits.

The product has a metallic circuit that connects LED indicators on each end of a premium-grade fiber jumper. When the module is connected, both terminations are identified by the LEDs, Antec says. The metallic circuit also acts as a talk path, powered by the Pathfinder module. It's intended to allow installers to communicate while working.

Antec says the Pathfinder is integrated with its LightLink System II and LightPlex System. The LightLink is a multipurpose equipment frame system that supports optical component termination, splicing and storage at headend, central office and customer sites. The LightPlex is a DWDM solution that transports and monitors optical signals on ITU wavelengths.
