Pioneer announced that Time Warner Cable Desert Cities Division, as part of its upgrade to digital service, has integrated Pioneer's Passport Interactive Program Guide (IPG) into its offering. Passport is the interactive interface by which viewers navigate programming and advanced services.

Customers of Time Warner's Desert Cities Division will use Passport to navigate more than 200 video; 44 pay-per-view; 40 digital music; and 45 digital premium and multiplex channels. Moreover, Passport offers the capability of downloadable interactive applications, such as Web browsing, e-mail, chat, weather, sports, interactive games, financial information, news, and more.

A unique feature of Passport is QuickInfo, which allows a viewer to scale video slightly to reveal scrollable program information about other channels, while simultaneously watching the current unobstructed broadcast selection.
