High Speed Access Corp. agreed to provide its high-speed Internet access service over Time Warner Cable 's systems. No word yet on the dollars involved, but rollout is expected by the end of this year. Dates depend upon TWC's modification of its systems to accommodate multiple ISPs.

"Phase one would encompass 20 of Time Warner Cable's divisions," HSA VP of communications Andy Holdgate told CEDaily. But location of the initial launch hasn't been determined and rollout will proceed on a division-by-division basis, decided by the two companies, he says.

The agreement, still subject to FTC approval, allows both to market the service independently. It's TWC's third lately; it made similar agreements with EarthLink and Juno.

The deal size in dollars is "not yet quantified," HSA investor spokesman Ron Dart told CEDaily. Unknowns stemming from TWC modifications mean the company doesn't know the amounts "short- or long-term," he says.
