Terabeam Networks Inc. will use ADC's Singl.eView real-time convergent billing platform, ADC says. ADC also released two new products extending the reach of ADSL.

Terabeam will use Singl.eView to reduce churn, speed its time-to-market, provide flexible rating and deliver accurate and detailed bills, ADC says.

Singl.eView is part of ADC's Singularit.e suite of products, services and EAI connectors, intended to allow service providers to build open, end-to-end OSS processes. The product automates OSS processes by combining real-time advanced customer management, convergent billing, service fulfillment and service assurance solutions with integration services from consulting companies, ADC reports.

ADC also has released its PG-FlexPlus Edge RAM and PG-FlexPlus EDGE IAD, which let carriers deliver ADSL services to customers currently beyond the reach of CO-based or DLC-based DSLAMs, it says.

The products work with the company's broadband micro-DLC, the PG-FlexPlus Field Shelf.

The RAM provides up to 24 ADSL port, and extends the reach limit from 12,000 feet to up to 30,000 feet, ADC says. The IAD provides an ADSL connection and three or six lifeline POTS on a single copper pair.
