C-COR.net merged with MobileForce Technologies Inc. on Friday — C-COR.net's fifth merger in two years. MobileForce software applications will be offered as part of a suite of operations management solutions under C-COR.net's Broadband Management Services, the company reports.

C-COR.net will acquire MobileForce for a total $20 million in cash and assumption of its debt, with a potential $13.5 million in additional payments dependent on meeting booking and revenue objectives.

C-COR.net announced last month it would consolidate two of its offices and eliminate 700 jobs. While 200 go to attrition, retirements and unfilled openings, 500 workers, primarily in the two consolidated locations, were let go last month.
