PayForView.com creates marketing division

PayForView.com has created Total PayPerView, a subsidiary providing Internet viewers and users with text and video about all pay-per-view TV products available on multiple viewing platforms. The new division will be headed by cable industry veteran Sid Amira.

The three-pronged Total PayPerView targets three groups: It's a marketing vehicle for content providers/distribution platforms; an entertainment and information Web site for consumers; and a business service for events rights holders. For them, it will extend promotion, production, financing and distribution capabilities.

Total PayPerView will be content and platform neutral, serving the pay-per-view industry, aggregating promotional information from the leading content providers, including movie studios, cable and DBS suppliers and Internet programmers. It will focus on promoting and growing pay-per-view and VOD, and serve as a promotional vehicle and "second voice" for its affiliates. It also plans online movie- and event-ordering.

PayForView.com is a Web-based entertainment and advertising company using streaming media.
