Equator Technologies has announced the expansion of its MAP-CA family of broadband signal processors. Providing a variety of high-performance chips, the MAP-CA-11, MAP-CA-12, MAP-CA-13 and MAP-CA-14 are designed to support the diverse consumer broadband application processing needs of Equator's expanding customer base and target market segments, both in the U.S. and abroad.

At the core of MAP-CA is a highly integrated, single chip solution, designed for high-performance, video-intense broadband applications ranging from Internet video devices that require a compact design, to stand-alone set-top boxes, to transcoders in digital headends and professional video equipment.

The MAP-CA family will offer Equator's customers a selection of frequencies to choose from, depending on their particular application needs: up to 256 MHz for MAP-CA-11; 270 MHz for MAP-CA-12; 283 MHz for MAP-CA-13; and 297 MHz for MAP-CA-14.
