Looks like the masses may have to wait a little longer before receiving the message on the world of entertainment, according to Microsoft. The ubiquitous company's new technology, Ultimate TV, has sort of been ready, but isn't enabled, yet.

CED reported Microsoft Ultimate TV was ready to go in January, but the package isn't complete. Ultimate TV pulls together components from different companies, and they apparently aren't on the same page.

DirecTV programming, digital video recording, I-TV and Internet access make up Ultimate TV. When the product is actually on the retail shelf, customers will find the package uses two tuners, enabling viewers to watch two live programs simultaneously, watch one live show while recording another, or even record two live programs that are airing at the same time.

Consumers may be able to experience Ultimate TV by March, ZDNet reports.
