Video Networks Inc. (VNI) and Time Warner Cable Adcast have inked a deal for VNI to deliver advertising and other content in a digital format to headends throughout North Carolina.
VNI, soon to be renamed Pathfire, is a digital media content distribution and management services provider. VNI's interactive media management service helps cable ad sales offices distribute commercials more efficiently and get them on air more quickly.
Time Warner Cable Adcast offers advertising on cable systems in the Carolinas, including Charlotte, Fayetteville, Wilmington, Greensboro and Raleigh. The interconnect serves 1.3 million cable households. VNI will provide Adcast with end-to-end management of spot delivery to nearly 40 sites. VNI will manage the application and the bandwidth for Time Warner Cable Adcast.
