Pace is the first to develop digital set-top boxes (home gateways) that will assist telecommunications companies in the U.S. to deliver high-quality video and interactive services over their existing copper wires. This is the first time a box with these capabilities has been available in the U.S.

Pace's new DSL4000 digital home gateway is now compatible with the U.S. broadcasting standard NTSC. The DSL4000 has been deployed by several operators worldwide this year, including Kingston Communications in the UK.
