Texas overbuilder enters agreements for construction and customer service
CaritaSoft and Black & Veatch Telecommunications have entered into Grande deals. Central Texas-based broadband company Grande Communications has forged deals with CaritaSoft and Black & Veatch Telecommunications to further enhance construction of its ground-up broadband network. The company recently began construction on its broadband network to deliver high-speed Internet access services, all distance telephone, and analog and digital cable entertainment to communities in Texas, including Houston and Austin.
CaritaSoft will supply Grande with its CVM Suite, which consists of operational and external databases, including billing, marketing and customer care. CaritaSoft's product will integrate with Cable Service Group's subscriber management system Grande currently has in place.

The local contractors are: Texstar Enterprises, Hypower Inc., FBS Communications, Telecom America Services and J.R.'s Cable Services Inc.
