Giving your subs games can be good for your bottom line. A new study by Infinity Marketing Group implies broadband delivery of on-demand interactive multimedia services will enhance a cable operator's bottom line.
The study focused on hundreds of users of Media Station's SelectPlay service and suggested that an extensive lineup of top-rated games and multimedia titles would tempt subscribers to increase the packages of services that they purchase from their high-speed network providers.
Eighty-one percent of respondents said they would be willing to pay a monthly fee for such a service. This statistic is particularly noteworthy, as 82 percent of all of the respondents do not currently subscribe to any premium cable television channel. Eighty-three percent said that they want access to the best and most current games. SelectPlay offers customers titles that include Roller Coaster TycoonT, Gunship!, and Cabela's Big Game HunterT III.
