Must be a great place. Comcast was awarded with a cable industry honor, the Cablevision/Bill Daniels Cable Operator of the Year award, last week at the East Coast Cable show in Baltimore, Md.
The award, created in 1988 by Cablevision Magazine, recognizes an individual cable company for its outstanding quality of management, commitment to customer relations and community support as well as financial and operational expertise.
According to an article in Cablevision's Operator of the Year issue, one key factor in choosing Comcast is because Comcast is more focused on digital cable than most cable operators. In addition to delivering customers the most advanced cable service available today, Comcast lays the foundation for future services, such as interactive television, video-on-demand, time-shifted viewing and other personalized services.
Other cable companies who have received this award include AT&T Broadband and Internet Services and Cox Communications.
