Sigfried and Roy. Penn and Teller. Dauphin and SmartBox.

Dauphin Technology is taking its show on the road and will introduce its new SmartBox set-top in Las Vegas at Comdex/Fall 2000 in November.

The SmartBox can perform all kinds of tricks, like controlling users' home and office environments, including heating and cooling, lighting, and control of smart appliances. It also does the usual; allowing users to surf the Web, get video on demand, make phone calls, send and receive email, and perform VOIP and video conferencing.

This price-yet-to-be-decided set-top can be used as a single user Internet access box or a multiple user residential/commercial telecom gateway.

Will it also break down the booth after the show?
