Gemini & SwitchPoint team up

Gemini Voice Solutions will team with SwitchPoint Networks Inc. to deploy, on a trial basis, the Gemini Broadband Voice telephony service over its Digital Switched Data Network in Springville, Utah.

SwitchPoint will provide Gemini Broadband Voice service to residences of its 1,000-plus home research and development network to confirm interoperability and Quality of Service. 

Gemini became the first company to commercially deploy this type of broadband voice service under its partnership agreement with WideOpenWest LLC.
