In yet another chapter of phone companies and MSOs suing each other over advertising claims, Verizon has filed a claim against Time Warner Cable (TWC) over a series of advertisements that TWC has been running.
Verizon said the ads falsely suggest that subscribers need a satellite dish to get video from Verizon, and that TWC’s network is better . The company is suing for damages.
TWC says the claims are without merit.
An example of the ads Verizon objects to resides here.
