Symmetricom today unveiled a comprehensive portfolio of materials designed to help cable operators improve the reliability of their DOCSIS network environment.

These materials include the company’s "Deploying Reliable DOCSIS Synchronization," a detailed guide for cable operators on deploying the DOCSIS Timing Interface (DTI) in their networks, as well as an iPod video presentation, Streaming Flash presentation, and an audio podcast.

Symmetricom released the DOCSIS deployment materials to help cable providers utilize better timing and frequency technologies to ensure the consistent, reliable performance of new cable services, including voice, video and data offerings.
