SinglePipe works with CMA, GLDS

SinglePipe Communications and CMA Communications have announced a new partnership, whereby SinglePipe will become the managed service provider for CMA's digital phone solutions, for both residential and business customers.

SinglePipe's managed service solution is a turnkey digital voice product that includes a range of packages for residential and small- to medium-size businesses, including regulatory compliance, FCC-compliant 911, local number portability, complete back office integration, and Tier 2 and Tier 3 support . A vital component of the service is SinglePipe's ability to integrate its Web-based back office solution with CMA's current systems, providing a single-order entry system for all of CMA's products and services.

CMA will initially launch SinglePipe's managed service in its Laughlin, Nev., market in March, with plans to pursue further launches in its Texas, Louisiana and Mississippi markets.

Additionally, SinglePipe and Great Lakes Data Systems (GLDS) have announced integration of flow-through billing and provisioning for commercial and residential VoIP services. SinglePipe is one of the first telephony service providers to integrate with GLDS's Service Provisioning Gateway (SPG) for Voice interfaces.

The new integrated solution has been successfully deployed for CMA in Dallas.

Integration with the GLDS gateway allows operators to control SinglePipe Digital Voice services directly from GLDS's WinCable billing system, and the integration eliminates the need for multiple, disparate systems and allows operators to manage SinglePipe delivered services without additional mediation or provisioning layers.

Direct provisioning from the billing system will allow CMA to manage triple-play service delivery more efficiently, minimize revenue loss and ensure a higher level of customer satisfaction, SinglePipe said.

"Provisioning and billing from the same system just makes sense,” said GLDS VP of Operations Garrick Russell. “The resulting solution will mean lower labor costs, faster service activation and fewer mistakes. That translates into happier customers and better revenue assurance. The days of swivel-chair order entry are over."

Parasun Technologies and Great Lakes Data Systems (GLDS) recently joined forces to provide a single-platform broadband provisioning and billing solution for cable operators.

The integrated platform eliminates “swivel-chair” data entry – particularly with the recent incorporation of a module to manage VoIP services from the same platform – resulting in increased efficiencies, revenues and accurate data reporting.
