Ditech Networks' Voice Quality Assurance (VQA) solution will be offered by Simlab.net to both its enterprise and service provider VoIP customers.

Simlab.net will be the communication industry's first managed service provider to deliver VQA as a hosted service, to users of its Enhanced Private Network (EPN) solution. Simlab.net's EPN allows businesses of all sizes to utilize network services that support Quality of Service (QoS) for real-time and mission-critical applications, the company said.

"Simlab.net provides enterprises and VoIP resellers of all sizes with a low-cost, high-quality last mile and VoIP solution that can be implemented immediately," said Anthony Hidalgo, EVP of Simlab.net. "For our enterprise clients, Ditech's VQA solution enables Simlab.net to deliver consistent, superior voice quality anywhere, allowing our customers to leverage the cost advantages of VoIP, even in places where our Enhanced Private Network cannot reach. For our partners, Simlab.net's hosted VQA solution enables VoIP resellers of all sizes to receive the rewards of superior quality without the need to buy or manage any hardware."

Deployed on Ditech's Packet Voice Processor platform, VQA enables SimLab.net's customers and partners to have clear, high-quality call experiences, no matter who placed the call, where the call was made, or what kind of phone or headset was used, the company said.
