Momentum taps LogiSense for billing systems

Momentum is going with a billing and OSS system from LogiSense to backup its wholesale digital voice services business.

Momentum's managed VoIP business is built on BroadSoft's BroadWorks platform. Part of the decision in going with LogiSense was that LogiSense has already integrated its systems with BroadSoft's.

Kelly Windham, director of billing at Momentum, said, "Working with LogiSense enables us to avoid costly delays resulting from integration problems and issues with interoperability, as well as operational expenses."

LogiSense EngageIP software covers billing, cost allocation, customer care, policy management, telecom rating and IP services delivery.

Momentum operates more than 100,000 digital voice lines for more than 350 independent cable operators, municipalities, value-added resellers, managed service providers and direct subscribers throughout the U.S.
