Cox Communications has launched the Cox Rhapsody music service to customers throughout northern Virginia.
The various music offerings – which range from free to $14.99 per month for a roaming service – are available to Cox's broadband subscribers in the area.
"Our customers have expressed that music is a big part of their lives, and Cox Rhapsody allows us to make their favorite songs even more accessible," said Mark Snow, VP of marketing for Cox Northern Virginia. "Cox Rhapsody provides our customers unlimited access to their music anywhere at home, work or while traveling."
The free service allows subscribers access to 25 on-demand songs per month on customers' computers, while the highest tier – Cox Rhapsody To Go – includes millions of songs that can be downloaded to additional devices, such as portable music players.
