Concurrent connects with Invidi, Biap for interactive ads
By Mike Robuck
CedMagazine.com - December 16, 2008

Concurrent said today that it has integrated its Myriad line of advanced advertising products with systems from three advertising technology providers.

Concurrent’s work with This Technology, Biap and Invidi will provide an end-to-end advanced advertising platform that is based on SCTE-130 and EBIF standards.

The combined offerings will help cable and broadband providers deliver advanced advertising functions such as targeted VOD ad insertion, bumpering, telescoping and reporting.

Over the next year, the four companies will collaborate on product interoperability and integration and will pursue joint marketing initiatives, including interoperability demonstrations at industry trade shows and summits.

"We are excited to be working with these three companies," said David King, chief marketing officer of Concurrent . "The product lines for all four companies are complementary; this collaboration will allow all to broaden their product portfolios with applications built on the latest in SCTE standards, while pursuing the goals of the industry in regard to advanced advertising."

Concurrent has integrated its targeted advertising offerings and video server technology with Biap's ETV/EBIF interactive advanced advertising platforms. Concurrent products have also been successfully tested with SCTE 130-compliant products from Invidi and with This Technology’s MetaMore and Spotbuilder.
