• OpenTV to showcase video, advertising solutions at Cable Show
By Traci Patterson

OpenTV Corp. will be showcasing its latest solutions at The Cable Show in New Orleans next week.

Video solutions to be showcased include push/pull video-on-demand (VOD), which enables operators to create a range of new possibilities for VOD service enablement; modular personal video recorder (PVR), which allows operators to cost-effectively deploy PVR services using low-cost, in-field upgrades for "a la carte" feature activation; and multi-format VOD, which takes VOD beyond the set-top box (STB) by enabling operators to distribute digital offerings that can include content created for multiple devices.

Advertising solutions to be showcased include OpenTV EclipsePlus, a next-generation campaign management solution; and OpenTV iAd Tools – OpenTV iAd Wizard, OpenTV iAd Manger and OpenTV Account – for developing, scheduling, airing and managing lead generation for interactive advertising.
