BendBroadband selects Amdocs for triple-play billing
By Brian Santo
CedMagazine.com - January 29, 2008

BendBroadband is replacing its billing and customer care systems with similar products from Amdocs.

BendBroadband, an operator in the rapidly growing central Oregon city of Bend, recently contracted with Alloptic for a fiber-to-the-premises (FTTP) upgrade.

The new Amdocs platform will support BendBroadband as it rolls out new triple-play features and services.

“We view billing as the core of all our back office and product systems and integral to our ability to delight customers, market products and monitor issues,” said Amy Tykeson, president and CEO at BendBroadband . “These factors drove our decision to move from a hosted environment to the Amdocs system, which enables us to better manage the complexities of our business."
