AT&T’s U-verse Voice service is now available in parts of Austin, Texas, central Texas and the San Diego area.

The digital voice service is delivered via AT&T’s U-verse Internet Protocol (IP) network and bridges customers’ wireline and wireless voice services, as well as their broadband and TV services.

In January, AT&T finished testing the voice component of the U-verse service, finally adding the third element of the triple-play that U-verse was designed to deliver (story here).

The VoIP service is available to all new and existing U-verse TV customers.
Meanwhile, AT&T has launched AT&T Online Photos from Flickr on the company’s U-verse TV service. U-verse customers can now watch slide shows and browse their online photos from Flickr right on their U-verse TV screens (via channel 91).

AT&T said that it is the only video service provider to offer an integrated online photos channel. Flickr, a Yahoo photo-sharing service, is an online photo-sharing community where users can upload, store, share and tag digital photos.

Additionally, AT&T is offering consumers three ways to experience the 2008 Masters Tournament – on the TV, PC and wireless device.

Under an agreement with the Masters, AT&T will be providing live footage and on-demand content from Augusta National across all three screens via AT&T U-verse TV, AT&T blue room, AT&T U-verse OnTheGo, AT&T Broadband TV and wireless devices (Cellular Video and MobiTV).
