Time Warner Cable names marketer for N.E. Ohio
By Mike Robuck
CedMagazine.com - November 19, 2009

Time Warner Cable’s Northeast Ohio division recently promoted Elizabeth Watson to senior director of marketing.

Watson, who joined Time Warner Cable in 1989 as a marketing coordinator, has been director of marketing since 1998.

“Liz possesses a vast amount of background in finance and marketing . That experience, combined with her passion for cable, makes her a proven asset to Time Warner Cable,” said Vin Zachariah, regional vice president of operations for Time Warner Cable Northeast Ohio.

In her new role, Watson will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans for customer and revenue growth, customer retention, video-on-demand, high-speed data services and new business development.

Since joining Time Warner Cable, Watson has been involved with various industry organizations, including the OCTA (Ohio Cable Telecommunications Association), Women In Cable Management conferences and Women in Cable Ohio Chapter.

In other Time Warner Cable personnel news, WTMJ News in Milwaukee reported earlier this week that Bev Greenberg will be stepping down from her position as vice president at the end of the year. Greenberg has been with Time Warner Cable since 1990, and WTMJ News said she was credited with creating the cable operator’s on-demand service in Wisconsin, which was later replicated throughout the company.
